Exploring Marriages and Families

Book is  Exploring Marriages and Families
The assigned book is one of the best in the field and students love it.  The major assignment(s) for this class is to read and review the material.  We will learn this way instead of having regular quizzes, which tend to stress students out – and I am convinced that students learn more from actually reading and thinking about the readings.  As a rubric, I am looking for the following –

a) did you actually read the material

b) did you get the central concepts that the author (and I) hope you get

c) do you understand them?

d) can you apply them to real life

This is what I am going to be looking for in each of the chapters.  It works best if you can write in narrative form.  Outline/bullet forms don’t convey detailed knowledge acquired.

Create a Word document that critiques the following 2 chapters and copy and paste it into the submission box.  No attachments!!!!  I am happy to give you feedback on it.  It is both of our goals that you do well and learn a lot in this class.
